Parking for Exhibitors
As you know from past year's, parking is at a premium at the convention center. Exhibitors will NOT be allowed to park trucks and trailers in the convention center parking lot on Friday or Saturday. Your cooperation is critical to allow enough parking for VISION expo attendees. The convention center will have security monitoring the parking lot. Here are several spots for off-site parking. If you have a semi or need special accommodations, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hilton Garden Inn will have 8-10 spots for trucks and trucks w/trailers at the far east end of their parking lot
Marriott Overland Park Hotel will have plenty of parking for trucks and trailers. A shuttle is available going back and forth between the convention center and Marriott.
Badges will be required beginning on Friday afternoon. Badges are available for pickup beginning Thursday afternoon at the Exhibitor Registration Desk, located in the Convention Center Lobby. Badges can be ordered for those not submitting their orders online prior to the event. Badges are required for entry into the exhibit hall on Friday and Saturday.
Tradeshow Vehicle Restrictions
All vehicles used on the show floor must meet the following guidelines:
1/8 tank or less of gas
Tape gas cap
Vehicle Keys must be left on premises
Vehicles will be inspected by the Fire Marshall, Convention Center and/or VISION Show Management
Saturday Morning Breakfast & General Session
Exhibitors are invited to attend this breakfast but are required to purchase a meal ticket in advance for $35 each. Saturday breakfast is served from 6:30-7:00 am, with General Session following until 8:15 am.
Celebration of Independents Awards Dinner & Comedy Night
There are a limited number of tickets remaining for $60 each and may be purchased by calling (816) 413-9800. This event may be sold out onsite so order in advance!
